Peachy Keen Smoothie

One of my favorite parts about summer? It's stone fruit season. Nothing beats biting into a juicy peach or plum on a hot day, right? 

Over the past few weeks, I've been adding stone fruits into my meals - nectarine-topped arugula salads, plum-topped oatmeal, peach cobbler, you name it. 

However, my favorite use of stone fruit has been throwing peaches into my smoothies. 

Here's my go-to recipe (that will actually keep you full until lunch time):

Peachy Keen Smoothie

  • 1 Ripe Peach - sliced (skin on) 
  • 1 Frozen Banana - sliced into small pieces 
  • 1/4 - 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp. coconut oil 
  • Ice 
  • Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk (guesstimate on amount here - depending if you want a thicker or thinner drink!) 
  • Optional: 1 Scoop of Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides

Throw all ingredients in a blender & enjoy!
